ClarusPOS Business Plan

ClarusPOS is a point-of-sale system built for retail and service businesses — supporting multiple registers, cashier sessions, offline selling, and real-time sales analytics, all integrated with Paxus inventory.

What's Included

  • Checkout terminal — a full-screen POS interface for processing sales with product search, quantity, discounts, and tax
  • Payment methods — accept cash (with change calculation), card, mobile money, bank transfer, or other methods; split payments supported
  • Held carts — park a transaction mid-sale and come back to it without losing the items
  • Refunds and voids — reverse completed sales; stock is automatically restored on refund
  • Receipts — print or view a formatted receipt for any completed sale
  • Invoice generation — convert any POS sale into a Paxus invoice with one action
  • Customer management — maintain a POS customer list linked optionally to Contacts module records
  • Registers — configure multiple POS terminals with individual receipt headers/footers and linked warehouses
  • Cashier sessions — open a session with an opening float, process sales, then close with actual cash count and auto-generate a daily summary
  • Offline sync — queue transactions captured offline and reconcile them when connectivity is restored; manage conflicts with server-wins, device-wins, or manual resolution
  • Sales reports — daily summaries, product performance reports, and a live dashboard with today's revenue, transaction count, and top-selling products

Inventory Integration

ClarusPOS reads products directly from Paxus inventory. When you process a sale, stock levels in the linked warehouse update automatically. You must have at least one active Paxus inventory item and one warehouse to begin selling.

Getting Started

  1. Checkout — open a session and process your first sale
  2. Products & Catalog — understand how inventory flows into the POS
  3. Multi-Location — set up registers, sessions, and offline sync
  4. Analytics & Reports — view daily summaries and product performance
